This step by step picture based pattern is great for those wanting to challenge and expand their macrame skills with a little weaving! This pattern is suitable for complete beginners as it will guide you through each and every stage. The pattern teaches you how to make both the macrame frame and the coloured weavings. This design can also be used to create wider and longer versions by simply adding longer lengths or an increased number of cord to either side.

YOU WILL NEED
> Approximately 85 metres of 4mm cord (we have used 3ply but if you already have single twist you can use that too)
> Approximately 8-10m of coloured cord. If you are using a thicker fibre for weaving you won't need as much length.
> We have used a 40cm piece of wood
> No loom required!

The finished product will be approx 70cm long.
